After the recommendation issued by the CPPD, OFF ROAD CLUB PELISTER have publicly announced that they will act on it and enable access to all people interested in the activities of the club, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
The Commission for Prevention and Protection Against Discrimination, upon a complaint from the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, found direct discrimination in the announcement that members of the LGBT community could not be members of the club. The Commission issued a recommendation to remove discriminatory content and oblige the club in the future to allow equal access and membership to all persons, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
